Volunteers: At the heart of it all!
The Adopt-A-Spot program uses a hands-on approach to keeping our town looking its very best. An individual, volunteer organizations such as scout troops, neighborhood associations or business groups -- anyone can Adopt-A-Spot. Adopting a local area for litter collection and clean up is a great way to show community pride and spirit.
Adopting a spot simply means choosing a roadway, park or other public area in Perrysburg and committing yourself or your organization to clean the area at least four times a year. A clean and litter-free community benefits everyone, keeping it more beautiful as well as safer for wildlife and people.
Your help is needed to Keep Perrysburg Beautiful. What a great way to help make the community in which you live the best it can be!
To begin the process of adopting a spot for yourself or your group, complete the application below and return it to: Office of Litter Prevention & Recycling 11980 Roachton Road, Perrysburg, OH 43551.
The individual or group will then fill out an adoption agreement. The adopting group agrees to handle all liability, to follow safe procedures, and to clean its area at least four times per year for a period of four years.
The Office of Litter Prevention and Recycling agrees to provide a sign recognizing the adopting group. The Office will also provide trash bags, safety vests, and trash pick up where necessary.
