This type of glass cannot be recycled. Dispose of broken glassware in regular refuse.
Grass clippings
When mowing your yard, leave the grass clippings on the yard. It serves as a natural mulch. If you need to gather clippings, make a compost pile. If you are a Perrysburg city resident, you may dispose of grass clippings through the City Yard Waste Program.

Greeting Cards
Old greeting cards and Christmas cards can be recycled curbside with newspapers.
Grills
Barbeque grills may be recycled by contacting the Department of Public Service at 419-872-8020 for a special collection. The gas tank must be empty and removed from the grill.
Grocery bags
Paper grocery bags
Paper grocery bags can be recycled with newspapers. Dry newspapers are used for house insulation. Wet newspapers are sent to a paper pulp mill to be used again in newsprint. City residents may put paper grocery bags in with newspaper for curbside collection.

Plastic grocery bags
Used plastic grocery bags can be reused for groceries, trash can liners, and pet waste disposal. Recycled plastic bags can be remanufactured as plastic lumber. All the local grocery stores now offer reusable shopping bags in place of plasitc and paper pags.

Leaves
There is a fall leaf collection for City of Perrysburg residents. The 2008 fall leaf collection ran from October 13 through November 23. During the rest of the year, the City Compost Site is available for leaf recycling.
Light Bulbs
